Here Today...Gone Tomorrow

So today I read Job 1. Job was a man of great wealth and influence. He had everything that he needed. Not only that, he was devoted to God and stayed away from evil. He even offered his own sacrifices for his children in case they sinned against God. He was a man that was on top of the world so to speak.

How Tight Are Your Pants?

I read an article the other day about snowboarder Nate Holland who was upset about some snowboarders in the Olympics this year wearing tight pants. The reason for his being upset is because it goes against the "anti-establishment"culture of snowboarding (which as you know is just like skateboarding, only on snow).

Do you remember being picked for teams back in elementary recess or PE? Or maybe even now when you get together with friends to play football or basketball or chess or the bagpipes or what not. Do you remember what it was like to not be picked first?

OK, so if you remember from yesterday, Zedekiah was the king of Judah for 11 years and he "did what was evil in the sight of the Lord."  The result of this was that he rebelled against the Babylonian king and was eventually overthrown. 

Choices, Choices

Man it's been a week since the last time I posted on here.  Told you I was going to "try" to stay faithful to and everyday schedule, but it's hard to do sometimes.  Oh well, let's get on with it.

It's the Little Things

Wow what a game that was between the Saints and Colts for the Super Bowl!  It had pretty much everything in it that we could have wanted right? Good teams, big plays, drama and some risk taking as well.  It was everything that you could hope for in a game like that.
